THE GAME OF TIME _ IN FOUR EPISODES
Research Statement
In the last years I´ve been developing a multidisciplinary project, it has passed on to a long-time “work in progress” based on the multiple and changeable concept of time.
This work configuration is being developed by the own vital rhythm (geographical, sentimental and politics), slid through different disciplines of knowledge, building a customized conceptual structure. Therefore, the mutability of the time representation takes over the aesthetics of the work, thus emphasizing the process rather than the finished product.
The answer to my multiple and unsystematic curiosity consists in suggesting approximations to different disciplines of knowledge and afterwards rearrange them, connecting them in an unorthodox ways, with the intention to become infected the pure concepts and uncovering the structures of its content.
The temporal and spatial map where the search becomes arranged is The Game of Time in Four Episodes. This play starts signposting geographical coordinates (Chile, Barcelona, Berlin, World), "species of spaces" (the desert, the city, the hypercube, the bunker) and temporal experiences (the memory, the oblivion, the progress and the leisure time). Around this configuration I go on developing multiple projects which function autonomously, even though conceptually connected in this map of time.select the titles around the board game to see the projects
